A Biblical Perspective on Financial Health
Todd Hindsman | Round Room
During this five-week course, we will explore a path to financial health and wellness with God’s Word as our roadmap. The goal of this course is to help us focus on Godly principles of financial management so that we may magnify the glory of our Lord with our finances. We will challenge ourselves to set aside the world’s standards of financial wellness by learning how to properly balance several Biblical financial principles while discussing practical ways to get started on the right path. If you have questions or uncertainties about your financial path forward, you are not alone. It is never too late for any of us to begin stewarding our resources to the glory of God.
Practical topics will include budgeting and planning, investing and saving, debt retirement and reduction, income tax implications, etc.
Christian Beliefs, Part 1
Mike Niemi & Steve Jordan | Room 311
Do you want to know about and solidify your understanding of some of the basic tenets of the Christian faith? Join us as we dive into ten questions and topics regarding Christianity in a group discussion-based format.
Our Family History - The Early Church Period (100-700)
Hunter Hindsman | Dining Hall
After Jesus ascended to be with his Father, his commissioned church saw the gospel spread throughout the ancient world, but the story continued on and there were many questions to be answered—the same questions each generation of Christians must answer. In this breakout, we will study this early chapter in our family’s history. You will find that the past sounds a lot like the present, and hopefully, gain clarity and direction regarding the issues facing the church today.
Men’s Breakout – Dependent Effort
Joe Gilchrist & Matt Loyd | Room 300
Centering around Colossians 3, this breakout group will be a discussion-oriented group that will continue the conversation about loving God with dependent effort. It will be an opportunity for brothers in Christ to dive deeper into the Scripture and encourage one another to greater expressions of love for God and the Christian life.
Women’s Breakout - Pursuing God & His Design
Carin Cordi & Jessica Williamson | Room 301
Digging into Colossians 3, this breakout group will explore how we, as women of Christ, break away from the sinful things of this world in our daily pursuit of God. We will learn how to act in a manner consistent with who God is and what he wants for our lives. We'll be encouraged by one another as we have Christ-centered conversations with other women during this uncertain time.
