Family Worship Resources

What's Family Worship?

Family Worship is simple: you read God’s Word together, pray together, and sing. It does not have to be super-spiritual or deep. In fact, many days you will wonder if it is having any effect at all. The power of Family Worship is not in an evening, but in the work of the Spirit through the sowing of the Word of God over a period of time. It is well worth the effort!

If you have not started a practice of Family Worship, we want to help you. Below you will find resources regularly updated to help you as you lead your family. In each resource, there is a scripture verse, application to the various family members, and some promptings for prayer and worship. Using this tool and 5-7 minutes you can start the practice of family worship in your home, trusting the Spirit to work powerfully in your life and your family’s life!

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7 CSB)
