This summer was filled with opportunities for our middle and high school students to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and prepare their hearts for the school year ahead.



Throughout the summer, our Middle School Guys Bible Study walked through the life of David, discovering what it means to trust and follow God through every season of life. The Middle School Girls explored the question, "What Makes Me Beautiful?", learning that true identity and lasting worth are found in Christ alone. Our High School Guys wrestled with deep questions about the Bible, faith in Christ, and how to confidently share the gospel with those who do not yet know Jesus. Our High School Girls also gathered each week for intentional Bible study and discipleship, growing together in their relationship with Christ.

Our summer retreats were a highlight of the season. Thirty middle school students attended Whitewater Camp, while thirty-three high school students traveled to the Smoky Mountain Retreat. Both retreats centered on learning how to develop a consistent, personal time alone with God through Scripture, prayer, and spiritual disciplines. More importantly, students built strong friendships, grew deeper in their relationships with one another and with the Lord, and returned home better equipped to pursue Christ with intentionality.

As students head into a new school year, they do so with stronger relationships, deeper spiritual habits, and a renewed commitment to follow God's calling in their everyday lives. Our prayer is that what began this summer will continue to shape the way they live, love, and lead for Christ throughout the year.

The summer also included a fun evening at the Rome Emperors game, giving students and families an opportunity to enjoy time together outside of the church setting. It was a great reminder that meaningful community is built not only through Bible studies and retreats, but also by simply sharing life together.

We are thankful for the way God worked in our student ministry this summer and look forward with excitement to all He will continue to do in the months ahead.
