Local Missions

Caring for the Fatherless

MeadowBrook is beginning to come alongside the Foster Care system in Etowah County and Eagle Rock Boys Ranch in a variety of different ways in order to impact the fatherless and those who engage them in life for the sake of the Gospel.

Community Engagement

Our community needs the hope of Jesus, would you consider being a part of a team that is aimed at building relationships in our community through events and other things in order for the Gospel to be made known in Gadsden?

Etowah Baptist Missions Center

The EBMC is in need of counselors to sit and talk with people they serve. Would you be interested in praying with people and telling them about Jesus in their time of need?

Etowah Pregnancy Testing Center

The EPTC is on the front lines in our area engaging crisis pregnancy and those affected by it. There is a need for counselors to come alongside these young ladies and their families as they navigate decisions in life.

Good News Club

Our GNC teams are in 4 different area schools loving on children and teaching them the truths of God’s Word every Tuesday morning and afternoon.

International Students at GSCC

God has brought the nations to Gadsden. This is our chance to build relationships and share the Gospel to those who may not have an opportunity to hear about Jesus in their home countries. Would you consider coming to one of our dinner/game nights at the church each semester or hosting students in your home?

Open Hands

Open Hands is where we engage those who live at or below the poverty line in Etowah County through counseling, food, clothing, and hygiene products.

Refugees in Clarkston, GA

God has brought the nations to our doorstep in order for us to reach them with the Gospel! Locally, we have the international students at Gadsden State. But within driving distance, we have refugees from dozens of countries (over 60). Refugees reside in almost every major American city, including Atlanta, GA. Church family, we have an incredible opportunity to learn about and engage refugees who have come to a community close to us (only a 2 hour drive away). Some of us can’t get on an airplane and go around the world, but most of us can drive 2 hours and spend a weekend or week building relationships with folks who need to hear about Jesus! Serve Week

Our goal is to engage individuals, families, Life Groups and D-Groups in the ongoing ministry of MeadowBrook through service projects that will introduce them to the various local ministries and give them a vision for how they can plug in more regularly to serve and engage our community with the Gospel of Jesus.

Way of the Cross

Every Thursday morning, MeadowBrook sends teams of people to prepare and serve a hot lunch to those who are hungry in our community.
