A historic celebration!
Sunday, August 25th was a night of historic proportions for our church family. We broke ground for our new worship center, prayed together as a church for our future ministry, and reminisced about 60 years of God’s faithfulness toward us as a church. Many Life Groups gathered in fellowship and laughter reverberated underneath the tent as we ate barbecue and bantered about which trivia answer was correct. It was a joyful evening.

Get the most out of your MeadowBrook Life Group Curriculum.
We have revised and updated our MeadowBrook curriculum based on feedback I have heard from many of you, and I wanted to share a video with you where I walk through the features of this new curriculum. We are studying Acts, and I believe this curriculum will help you grow in your love for God and the local church, as well as apply the message of Acts into every aspect of your life. Watch this video (8 min.) as I walk through the new features, and see how this curriculum could greatly impact you and your ministry in a positive way.
During September we’re focusing on…
Serving our church family by beginning to pray for the Time is Now initiative and construction. Each week we will have updates keeping you informed so we might pray together in a focused manner for the unity of the church, the provision from the Lord, the safety of the builders, and the ministry that will occur in our new complex, which would be futile without the blessing of the Lord. This will be an opportunity to minister together as Life Groups, and collectively draw near to God and each other as we rely on Christ.
Ways you can engage this month…
If praying with others is something that excites you, I encourage you to check out these prayer opportunities:
This group meets on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:30 AM in the Conference Center on Rainbow Dr.
This group meets on Tuesday’s from 11:00-11:30 in Hunter’s office.
In addition to the teaching that is walking through Hebrews 11 and 12, we seek to take some time to pray together as the corporate body of Christ for our church family in response to the teaching heard.
Call to action
Mark your schedules for these corporate prayer opportunities, begin praying for our church each day as you have your time with God in his Word.
