Certain verses in the Scriptures encapsulate truth that direct and sustain our souls throughout life’s various seasons. When we understand and internalize these passages, the Spirit uses these truths to guide us in the path of light and holiness when the path before us appears unstable and frightening.

One of the temporal gifts that God has entrusted us can either be a blessing if we manage it according to wisdom of God or a snare if we manage it according to the wisdom of the world. In this breakout, you will be instructed in what God’s word says about money, how we ought to manage it, and some very practical steps toward being in a place of financial health.

In Ministry Connections, you will learn how the Lord has uniquely created you and you will find out how you can come alongside our faith family in a deeper way in missions and ministry here on campus, locally in our community, and among our global partnerships.

How to Disciple Someone?

To be a discipler is something quite fundamental to following Christ. Before his ascension, Jesus gathered his disciples to himself and gave them the charge to make disciples. Christ did not cease to build his church at his ascension but continues to build it today through his Spirit-empowered disciples. In God’s providence, there is no other plan for the expansion and strengthening of the kingdom of heaven. The church making disciples is the plan. However, the task of discipleship may be daunting, and we want to help equip you.

In this breakout, you will be equipped with some foundational principles of disciple-making and provided training in MeadowBrook’s new step-by-step tool for one-on-one discipling. At MeadowBrook, we are praying for a disciple-making movement to take root in our people. We hope this training will help launch such a movement and bear fruit that brings glory to God for all eternity.
